Natural Star was founded in April 2008 after it originally started out as a hobby a few years earlier and quickly grew to taking the next step.  My passion in life apart from my family is my love of knitting, wool and vintage patterns.  New Zealand has a great resource of some of the best fibres in the world which are perfect for our precious babies and children.  Those fibres and my designs together produce timeless, classical, vintage inspired handknits.

Merino and Bamboo are fantastic fibres for babies and toddlers. They can be worn right next to the skin. Bamboo is also anti-bacterial and wonderful for those babies and toddlers that have a sensitivity to wool. We also use certified organic merino for those that are wanting a pure natural garment with no dyes and chemicals.

Natural Star has a dedicated team of highly skilled handknitters from around New Zealand helping to produce garments that are worn by babies and children all around the world. 

At Natural Star we love it when customers request our handknits in a different colour or size and will work with you the customer to get the end product that you are wanting with the perfect fit.  We also sell our patterns for personal use and wholesale our products.
